May All Your Strikes Be Hard And Fast

This Past Friday I was able to compete in a Tournament To help raise money for this wonderful cause. Finished in the middle of the pact with 24 boats fishing, not bad as only my 2nd time there. We raised over 1500$ and had a great time in doing so. In the pic I am the tall guy with the blue Yamaha Hat on. It truly amazes me that 50plus guys can get together and fish to support a good cause. That,s what it,s all about. Made some new friends and found a new lake to hopefully pulverize the Smallies as it is a factory for them. Just wanted to give Make a Wish some free advertising/ Tight lines to all

I think alot of anglers fail to see the fun that can be brought on by tournament fishing. I know alot of fisherman who take it way to seriously at times, think money more then fun, and fail to recognize the blessing they have in this sport. No matter who you are, fishing is not a job by a long shot. It is a privelage, blessing, and anyone who can make money doing it should be thankful. Unless you are a Alaskan Crab Fisherman, fishing is not a job and should never be treated as one. I think more people should take the time to compete and raise money for charitys like the Make a Wish Foundation. Sometimes we spend to much time thinking of ourselves and not others....
